1. General-purpose software

DD Compressor is a general-purpose compression and conversion utility. It does not provide legal, medical, financial, cybersecurity, forensic, regulatory or other professional advice.

2. Results are not guaranteed

Compression can change size, quality, metadata, codecs, resolution, bitrate, compatibility and other properties. Results depend on the input, settings, device, browser and processing engine.

3. Backup warning

D.D. Tech Labs is not responsible for loss caused by user action, device failure, operating-system/browser failure, storage failure, corrupted input, interrupted processing, insufficient storage or other circumstances.

4. Rights and permissions

You must have the legal right to process every file you select. Do not use the App to violate copyright, privacy, confidentiality, licensing or other applicable restrictions.

5. Local processing

The core App is designed for local processing. Local processing reduces transmission but does not make a device, browser, operating system, storage medium or downloaded file completely secure.

6. Third-party components

The App may use open-source libraries and later releases may use third-party SDKs/services. They may have independent licenses, terms, privacy practices and limitations.

7. Advertising

The first store-first Android release is intended to be ad-free. Later releases may use Google AdMob or another advertising provider. Third-party advertisements are supplied by third parties; D.D. Tech Labs does not guarantee or endorse the accuracy, availability or suitability of an advertised product merely because an ad is displayed.

8. Internet and availability

Some future features may require internet access. Third-party services can be unavailable, delayed, restricted or changed without notice.

9. Professional/regulatory requirements

You are responsible for checking whether an output meets the technical, legal, regulatory, archival, publication, accessibility or other requirements applicable to your use.

10. Security and malicious files

Do not process files from untrusted sources merely because a format is supported. Keep your device and software updated. No software can guarantee safe handling of every malformed, corrupted or malicious file.

11. Limitation

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, D.D. TECH LABS DISCLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY FOR LOSSES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON COMPRESSION RESULTS, CORRUPTED FILES, INTERRUPTED PROCESSING, DEVICE/STORAGE FAILURE, THIRD-PARTY SERVICES, ADVERTISEMENTS OR MISUSE OF THE APP.

12. No absolute guarantee

No software can honestly promise zero bugs, zero data loss, perfect compatibility, uninterrupted operation or absolute security.
