1. Service

DD Compressor is a general-purpose utility for local compression, conversion and optimization of supported files. Features and supported formats may change.

2. Lawful use

You must use the App only lawfully and must respect copyright, privacy, confidentiality, intellectual-property and contractual rights.

3. Your files

• You retain ownership of your files.
• You represent that you have permission to process them.
• You are responsible for their contents and backups.

4. Local processing

The core compression function is designed to operate locally. This does not promise that every future feature or third-party integration will be offline.

5. No guaranteed result

DD Compressor does not guarantee a particular file size, quality, bitrate, resolution, compatibility, processing speed or output result. Compression can alter quality, metadata or encoding properties.

6. No backup service

The App is not a backup, archive, disaster-recovery or permanent storage service. Keep independent copies of important files.

7. Third parties

Open-source libraries and future third-party services may have separate licenses, terms and privacy policies. Your use of those services is subject to their applicable terms.

8. Advertising

The first store-first Android release is intended to be ad-free. Later releases may contain advertising. Ad availability and placement can vary by region, device, consent, network and provider.

9. Intellectual property

Except for user-owned or third-party material, DD Compressor software, branding, interface and documentation are owned by or licensed to D.D. Tech Labs. Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.

10. Prohibited use

• Do not use the App to infringe rights or violate law.
• Do not introduce malware or malicious content.
• Do not abuse, overload or interfere with associated online infrastructure.
• Do not misrepresent third-party content as your own.

11. Availability and updates

Features, platforms, formats, third-party integrations and support may be modified, suspended or discontinued. Updates may be required for security and compatibility.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DD COMPRESSOR IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, D.D. TECH LABS AND ITS CONTRIBUTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOSS OF DATA, FILES, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL OR DEVICE FUNCTIONALITY ARISING FROM USE OF THE APP. Nothing excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

14. Privacy

Your use of DD Compressor is also governed by its Privacy Policy.

15. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. Distribution or support of a version may be discontinued where permitted by law and platform rules.

16. Changes

These Terms may be updated when the software, business model, third-party services or legal requirements change. The latest effective date will be displayed above.

17. Governing law

These Terms are intended to be interpreted under applicable law, subject to mandatory consumer-protection and other rights that cannot legally be waived. Disputes should first be raised with the developer for reasonable informal resolution.
