Ritav.ai · controlled AI environment
Ritav.ai
A security-first, user-controlled AI system being engineered so AI can understand and plan while deterministic controls govern what may actually happen on a device.
Permission before power
Ritav separates AI reasoning from security authority, capability access and external execution.
Fail-closed security
Invalid, uncertain or stopped security states are designed to deny rather than silently expand authority.
Privacy-minded by design
Local processing, bounded storage/audit and minimized data exposure are core design principles.
Cross-platform foundation
The architecture targets Android, iOS/iPadOS, Windows, macOS, Linux and supported ChromeOS/device form factors.
What Ritav.ai is
Ritav.ai is being developed as an AI operating environment for user-directed agents and controlled device interaction. The architecture places a deterministic security boundary between AI proposals and actions that can affect the outside world.
The current repository contains a real Android application, platform-neutral Kotlin Multiplatform contracts and a security/runtime foundation. The final conversational/product experience is still under development.
What is actually implemented
- Android application identity ai.ritav.app and a concrete Android runtime composition.
- Kotlin Multiplatform platform, form-factor and capability contracts.
- Risk-tiered policy/capability controls and scoped authorization.
- Exact action binding, one-time authorization consumption and Emergency Stop protection.
- High-risk sensitive-information defenses and deterministic financial/UPI restrictions.
- Protected local storage and bounded local audit infrastructure on supported paths.
- Prompt-injection and network-egress security boundaries.
- Result verification and trusted Android application identity checks in the implemented launch path.
- Release-hardening and automated Android verification work.
Current product boundary
The Android app currently exposes a security/permission management experience centered on the Permission Center. The trusted external-application registry is intentionally empty by default, so external actions remain deny-by-default until a separately reviewed trust and authorization path exists.
Platform status
Android is the most developed executable target. iOS/iPadOS, Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS are architectural targets with platform-specific implementation and validation still required before they can be described as fully supported.
AI and agent behavior
Ritav.ai is intended to let users define and direct agent-oriented work without giving the AI model unrestricted execution authority. Model/provider integration remains intentionally unavailable or fail-closed until a concrete, reviewed runtime is integrated.
